Perfect for an astronomy class, a science club, or a science night event,
these guides, which align to ESS1.A (The Universe and its stars) and ESS1.B (Earth and the Solar System), showcase education and public outreach resources from across more than 20 NASA astrophysics missions and programs. The twelve guides - one for each month – highlight a sky feature. Each guide provides information on how to find and view the feature, a related story, viewing suggestions, links to a related activity, and links to NASA sites with additional information. Finish out your school year with a visit to these three sky features: Pollux (April), Hubble Deep Field (May), and the Hercules Cluster (June).

Dr. Hawking epitomized STEM: all of his research and teaching focused on science, technology, engineering and math. Even his ability to verbally communicate his research to the world involved technology and engineering.
